Ken Southerland, a Raven Tlingit and Deisheetan originally from Angoon, AK, is a former Sealaska intern and is Sealaska’s human resources manager. He is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers.
Prior
to joining Sealaska, Ken was the human resource technical services
supervisor for the state of Alaska, the steel building operations
coordinator for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian
Tribes of Alaska, and worked for Kootznoowoo, Inc.
Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
