Nicole Hallingstad is the granddaughter of Amy Hallingstad, who named her Ch’aak’tlaa (Mother Eagle). She is vice president and corporate secretary.
in Petersburg, Alaska, Nicole worked as the grants manager for a
private, nonprofit foundation in New York City before returning to
Alaska in 2003 to work for Sealaska.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s
degree in history from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and a
master’s degree in history from the University of California at
Berkeley. She is a member of ANS Camp 16 of Petersburg, ANS Camp 70 of
