Community

Tlingit man in regalia next to totem poleCommunity is very important to us. Our core cultural values teach us to seek truth and knowledge in all we do. They teach us to care and provide for our families, clans and communities, and to respect other cultures and all living things.

Sealaska is proud of its community outreach to Southeast Alaska. We send ambassadors to every village and town in Southeast to listen to the voices of Native and non-Native alike. We want to continue to help build Southeast into a powerful economic engine and we look to the community for guidance and support.

Our values teach us to conduct business with dignity and respect and in doing so, we are building a larger community. We employ regional workers in the areas our businesses are located, so we help their families and communities as we help ourselves.
