Anthony Mallott has been serving as Sealaska President and CEO since the annual meeting on June 28, 2014. Mallott previously served as Sealaska's Treasurer/Chief Investment Officer from 2006-2014. In this capacity he was responsible for setting the direction of the treasury activities and management of corporate investment funds. Prior to joining Sealaska he spent nine yeas at Bank of America in San Francisco, California.
"I look forward to utilizing the experiences gained in my 18-year investment career to lead Sealaska's next stage of operational growth and increased profitability through acquisitions," said Mallott.
Anthony earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University. He contributes to the community in many ways beyond his Sealaska leadership position. He chairs the Kottznoowoo Permanent Fund Settlement Trust; is a Rasmuson Foundation board member; and an investment committee member of the Alaska Community Foundation.
He grew up in his hometown of Yakutat, AK and currently lives in Juneau, Alaska. He is Tlingit, Eagle, Tsaagweidi (Killerwhale) Clan and Koyukon Athabaskan, Caribou Clan. His Tlingit name is Gunnuk.
