Sealaska Shareholder Graduates with MBA in Executive Leadership

Sealaska shareholder Donovan Clayton graduated from California State University, Monterey with an MBA in Executive Leadership. After, graduating from Haines High School, Clayton earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation. This led to job as a Creative Director and Marketing Associate for a firm in Beverly Hills, California where he worked for several years.

“My interest in entrepreneurship and business development ultimately encouraged me to further my education,” said Clayton. “While I was working on my graduate degree I helped my wife launch her own successful business, Easy Speech Communication Center in Palm Desert, California, the largest speech therapy and language disorder clinic in the Coachella Valley. I also provided pro-bono work for several non-profits in the area.”

Clayton graduation, May 16, 2015 he has been pursuing opportunities to work with native tribes, organizations and businesses by providing marketing and business development services.

Donovan Clayton grew up in Haines, Alaska. He is the son of Lee Clayton (Kaagwaantaan, Wolf, Gooch Hit), former president of Chilkoot Indian Association and Margo Clayton (Cupeno Indian, Morongo Band of Mission Indians) a former CCTHITA employee.
