Sealaska offers internships in many fields, scholarships for college students and the chance for young people to voice their opinions as the Sealaska Board Youth Advisor.
Apply to be a Sealaska Summer Intern
When it comes to starting your career, diverse experiences can open more doors for you.
To help prepare shareholders and their descendants for professional careers, we started our internship program in the early 1980s. Since then, over 400 shareholders and shareholder descendants have participated in our program.

Apply for a Sealaska College Scholarship
Sealaska's commitment to education is a source of pride and makes a positive impact on communities. In 1988, Sealaska established a $2.5 million endowment to provide a stable source for scholarships.
Sealaska Heritage Institute (SHI) administers the scholarship program. Scholarships are available for Sealaska shareholders or shareholder descendants attending accredited university, college or vocational school in the 2018-2019 school year.
Apply by February 1, 2018 to receive an additional $50 to your scholarship. The deadline for all scholarship applications is March 1, 2018. Recipients will be selected on May 1, 2018.
Apply to be the Next Board Youth Advisor
Sealaska's Board Youth Advisor is the bridge between the older and younger generations on the Sealaska board. He or she has a voice in the boardroom with a very valuable perspective.
We are looking for the next one. The deadline to submit completed applications, supporting documents, and all required letters of recommendation is March 26, 2018.
