Through Woocheen, we promote ocean health, renewable energy and a holistic vision of wellness for both people and planet. We bring resources and opportunities from across the globe back home to Southeast Alaska.

Haa Aaní allows us to promote environmental balance as we steward over 365,000 acres of land across Southeast Alaska. We nurture healthier forests, rivers and more as we preserve cultural practices.

The Seacoast Trust is an avenue through which we can promote sustainability in perpetuity. Here, we manage necessary funds for the Southeast Sustainable Partnership with our values at the forefront.

A visionary and inclusive coalition, the Southeast Sustainable Partnership brings together experts and organizations working in food sovereignty, land management, local business, energy systems, storytelling and more. Cultural and physical wellness, intertwined, are supported in one breath.

Through Spruce Root, Sealaska encourages local entrepreneurs and budding businesses through financial assistance, business coaching and workshops. Spruce Root is a vital part of the healthy soil in which our shareholders can pursue exciting new business ventures!

Sealaska Heritage Institute was founded in 1980 when the Elders in attendance at the first Sealaska Elders Conference entrusted Sealaska with the responsibility of our region’s Native cultural preservation and education. Since then, SHI has been singularly instrumental in the preservation and innovation of Southeast Alaskan Native culture, and Sealaska is proud to support them.
